Frye James Wingtips | Anthro Dress

Lately I’ve seamed to acquire quite a few blue peaces. I don’t think it is deliberate, it just keeps happening. I’m getting to the point where I have to just say I’m going for the “monochromatic” look with every outfit. Blue looks good on everyone I feel. There is a shade of blue out there for everyone, It can range from very neutral to quite bright and fun.

So besides my color dilemma, I am proud to present the first dress on Faintly Masculine! Honestly though this is the first dress I’ve worn in a year probably. While embracing my sense of masculinity in clothing, I tend to feel out of touch in a dress. Like one of those tomboy girls that was squeezed into a dress by their mother for a formal event. I have been looking for the right length, shape and something I can pair with more masculine shoes. I found this little blue number around the time I purchased my Frye Wingtips, and they just seamed happy together. I took the shoes out of the box I looked at the dress in my closet and rolled my eyes at the fact that both my new purchases were in fact blue and just went with it. These wingtips are the perfect masculine touch to ground such a feminine piece.
